Ok during vacation a few weeks ago i covered my car so it wouldn't get all nasty from the storms. When i came back my winshield washer doesn't work in the front. Works fine for my rear window though. Anybody have any ideas??

If your back one works, I beleive it's not your motor. I had this problem on my windshield with 2 washers. What happened was my washers got clogged, i'm guessing it was because I didn't use them very much. Anyways, either your A). Washers or B). your Washer Hose is clogged, which is located under your hood up front. What sucks is, if you can't get them unclogged, your going be paying a rediculous amount of money to replace the old washers with new ones.

Just to double check your motor isn't broken, try and spray your windshield and see if just a little bit comes out the front 2 washers. If something comes out, your motor isn't broken.

Hope this helps you out... Good luck!

Your best bet would be to use a small wire gauge to move your way up through the hose until you get to the top. It's kind of tricky, so be careful not to lose your wire in the hose wink

Also, it's most likely that your washers are clogged rather than your hose. Dusty elements are more likely to get into your washers than the hose. When you get it fixed, use your windshield washer often even if you don't need to use it to prevent future clogging. thumbsup

If all else failed. Check the fuse for your windshield washer located in the center junction box
