Do you do it while your car is running? Yes or no? I've been reading other peoples point of views on the issue and some say no and some say yes, which is it?

If you do it while the car is off, then you will have to get in there, and wipe it down with a snake of some sort.

If you do it while the car is running, then you can spray it in in small amounts. Just don't use too much, or else your engine will stall.

I wont take the time to compress them cause it's easier to see if they are full res anyways.

turn off the car, take all the plastic tubings out and get to ur throttle body. clean wutever you can. then turn on the car and spray some throttle body spray on ur cloth or wutever you cleaning the throttle with. pull the throttle cable so that thing opens, and clean the rest of the inside of the throttle body. when ur done, turn off the car and start packing back up.
thats how i do it, and i dont understand why u'd think the car will stall when ur spraying.
