Ok guys, I have my car ready to be sold but when I got to the track last thursday (not running) my CD player just stopped working. I put in a CD and it read it like there wasn't one in the player. Tried four other CD's and didnt work still. So what I want to know is if this has happened to anyone else and for you car audio guru's do you have any advice that I may can fix it, clean it, etc.? Thanks in advice for your help.

Spencer

LOL

It appears that your radio is faulty, or the wiring harness is faulty.

Do any electrical work lately?

No I haven't. I dont know what is going on with it. My normal radio works fine it just doesn't read the CD's. So I don't think its a fuse. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty and/or how much it would cost to fix this.

The CD player IS covered under warranty. At least, it was covered under mine.

If you aren't under warranty, then you might as well buy an aftermarket deck.

If not, then people are always selling their stock CD players for cheap, since they replace them. And they are used in a few Toyota cars, not just the Celica.
