no, the paint wont come off.

Its a myth kinda like the one that dads say "if you play with it to much its going to fall off"

yeah i get that all the time. just do it in a shaded area, just so you won't end up getting dry spots, cause that can ruin your paint.

if you use a lot of scratch and fade remover you can put swirl marks on the paint if you press hard enough eek

Heheh, NOT washing your car will probably do more damage to your paint smile

I didn't wash my car for two weeks, and sure enough, I had hit a nasty bug. Little booger messed up the paint where his guts had been. So now I have 2-3 spoils in my paint (sorta looks like the paint melted for a few seconds, then hardened right back up... Not sure how to describe it. It's like dented and twisted at the same time).

Oh well. The town I live in, it's pointless to repair the paint for now. (I've had the car maybe 5-6 months, and I have 10+ small chips in the front, and I don't even bother counting the back (right behind the tires)).

When I move, I think I'll just get a body kit and repair any other chips.

But anyway, back on topic - it won't hurt your car to wash it. It will hurt it NOT to wash it smile
