Im getting a 7" LCD in a few weeks, was looking at my center consol, think I might make a Mounting bracket for it that molds around the "cubby drawr" under hte clock, not going to permantly attach to dash but get it to mount up flush and velcro or 2x sided tape it in so It can be removed. Anyone have something made like what Im talking about? Was wondering if I can score a pic before I do it. Goign to do it this way so I can put the door back on and take this off if I sell the car...

hope that made sence smile

Also lookign for a better place to Mount a PS2 rather then the back of the Driverside back seat. With minimal Mods to interior, and have it be removable if car is sold.

I've done some projects with monitors. Some monitors come with removable mounting brackets. As well as removable AV harness cables. Here's an idea hope you can do it in your center console it might be hard to find one that will fit in that area though. A 5 inch may fit without cutting anything or any custom work.

As for PS2 you can pretty much mount it anywhere mine is mounted in the rear of the trunk. People usually mount it near passenger area below glove box. Anyway here's an idea wherever you want to wire it.

I use a wireless RF modulated controller with no interference. Don't have to mess with wires. You could walk pass the controller ports of your console while playing or play through the wall. It's range of distance is 40ft. Uses a small receiver the size of a memory card. No pointing at the receiver is necessary since is it RF modulated

Nice, thansk for hte info. I jsut installed a 7" in my friends Visor this weekend and a PS2 Into his glove box (Cavalire z24) had a huge fucking glovebox we mounted it right inside there.

I was checking out his screen and thats where I got the idea. would make this mount right over the cubby hole and jsut drill a hole in the top of it (out os sight inside ) to run the wire out of. Once I pick out a screen Im goign to try and make this mount to sit flush and angle the screen a bit more verticle. Im goign to try and Fiber it myself (Im a DIY guy) with the help of a friend who does Custom Fiberglass and Sheatmetal work professionaly.. so I ll have a good teacher smile then its on to the hatch setup once i get comfortable with Glassing. Ill try and make a sketch of exactly what Im talking about later smile

Installing a SAVV rear camera setup next weekend on one of the Video inputs and thinking of putting either my PS2 or XBOX on the other. So, stay tuned. wave
