way dont you buy the 00 twm short shifter?
and i had a 02 celica befoer and the 02 twm short shifter is shorter than the 00 short shifter.

yes it will fit, but, it has a bend in it so it might make the shifter feel funny.
The bend is to help with the pinching in reverse.
