damb thats a lot of driving, I thought I had alot, Im only at 58000 well actually i really put only about 35,000 miles on it since mid 2003...the previously owner drove hella alot...i guess he commutes all the time..oh well not bad for a 9 grand car.

CELICAS are the BEST period, nuff said b4 you try to figure that out 300 miles a day, thats 1500 a week, 6k a month, and 75 a year for about three years than i took it easy. thats an oil change every other weekend had to fill up my car wiht gass everyday

everytime someone talks about high mileage i think of you ikin i hope thats good its just that i hate it when people say the car is shit and b.s. like that, most of the time its the drivers fault, rarely somebody just gets a bad car from teh start but its mostly the driver. the engine is bullet proof, redlinnig every gear everyday is too much pressure on the engine, if you treat the car good it will treat you good, i hope the car will last me for until 3ook

thats not bad, just dont keep stepping on it, if you dont need to step on it then dont, its pointless however you do need to step on it once and awhile, try no to go past 5k when ur stepping on it, for me i only go 4k if im stepping on it. hope that helps  i think ur car will last up to 190k-200k with proper maintance and care

65k on a 2000 GT. Only things I've replaced so far were the battery (twice, but now I've gone with Optima ) and about 3-4 flat tires. That's it!

hey me too!! i am right at 150K as well..its running quite good...but just sometimes when i try reversing my car it doesnt go into the reverse mode and just stays in neutral..not a biggie...but celica's are awesome they can go for miles and miles

Repainted a couple of months ago. Original paint was still pretty good and shiny. Just had lots of chips and scratches. Engine is original. Driver side seat bottom replaced about 10 years ago. Everything else is original inside except stereo. See more photos in "show your car†thread. I am the original owner. It was a show room car.

I've got 280,000 miles. Doing a lot of repairs at the moment underneath but I've been driving for 11 years and want to see just how far she will go!

2002 GTS Auto with 328K miles with original engine and transmission. Still runs smooth and strong. Routinely cruises at triple digit. Car is in SW Us, no rust..
Recently curbed the right wheels hard the second time. Car jumped up in the air, destroyed 1 wheel and tire, had to replace. Found all 4 KYB struts flat, not damping. Replaced with all 4 KYB AGX gas struts. Did the work myself with spring compression tool borrowed from O'Reilly. Not that hard.
Left inner tie rod was loose. Tire wiggles left and right. Replaced both inner and outer tie rod on both sides. Can runs fine. Steering is straight and firm.
Car is all original except new tires, struts, batteries, 3x engine mounts, rebuilt alternator, charcoal cannister, resealing timing chain front gasket for oil leak.
