I have a Carbon Blue 2002 and the rear and front bumper are scratched. The front bumper was scratched by the spare tire on the back of an old rav 4, while the guy was trying to parallel park..nothing deep, but ugly. The rear bumper is worse. It was scratched my a dumbass pulling out of a parallel spot behind me. He clipped the rear of my car and drove off!!! [still have no idea who it was] angry But the metal bumper from his truck scratched paint completely off on one side.

I'm thinking of putting a body kit on it. If i get a full body kit i will not have to worry about it. But if I get something like a wings west, I would need to repair the existing bumper. Should I go to Toyota? How easy is it to fix? How much do you think it will cost? Is it worth it, considering I will most likely have to paint the new kit? Opinions please!! thumbsup

4 days after i bought my car, this dumb ass 24 kid slamned into my rear bumper, it was only a little srcatch like a size of nickel. the bodyshop want $380 to fix it. it's probably better off to get a body kit and have a shop do it for you. most kits aren't very hard to install, i recommend you to DIY...

just got a quote of $275 for repainting entire front bumper, quality job, includes clear coat...I'm getting the hood done as well for another $175 while they're at it. This way, the few chips in the hood won't stand out once the bumper is brand new! VOILA!! wave

Damn 275 to repaint just the front bumper?? It might be cheaper to go to a junkyard or buy one from a celica owner. The hard part for me is finding a carbon blue bumper!!! Does anyone know how much it will cost for all 4 pieces of a kit to be painted?

Later today I will post pictures of the scratches, to see what you guys/gals think.

Thx
