soon ill be moving to utah and we will be towing my car 1500 miles. of course its too low to get hitched up and pulled on ythe back wheels so im gonna have to take off my ww body kit and resonator from my tanabe(thats a different story). the kit it held on with 3M double sided tape besides the screws. is there anything i can use to get it off safely without taking off the paint? im gonna put it back on when we get to our destination so ill need a clean slate. thanks

go to pep-boys and get a heat gun...it should siften the tape and stickiness, which should help the lip pull right off

wd40 will kill your paint finish - do NOT use that stuff!!!

If you cannot wait for a warm day to remove the kit, follow azzkikr's sugestion...

once the rubber/3m is warm - the kit should just peel off after already removing the screws
