I found a company that is willing to prototype a throttle bopdy for our cars and possibly do production if there is enough interest. What bore sizes should we look at for the GT and the GTS????? I'll put up the money for the prototype, as well as the dyno results if people are interested. I put a bigger throttle body on my last vehicle from 75mm to 85 mm and got something like 7 hp and 15 ft. - lbs of torque as an increase to the wheels...from what I remember, an increased throttle body usually helps with low-end torque...and since I know its a problem with our cars I'm willing to try to come up with a solution...I just need to know what bore size we are gonna try to go with for the GT and the GTS

I don't think you're gonna get as good of results as you would like. Good luck though. thumbsup

it could be helpful if I should get a huge turbo. Please test on turbo people and not only N/A.

...enough to match the flow of the turbo size...hehe.
I guess the N/A size wouldn't be the same as the turbo size. But if most aftermarket intakes out there are 2.75", can you please explain the phsyics of how a larger than stock TB will help N/A? (really...I am not trapping you hehe like I do with people who bs...I don't know in this case smile )

the long and the short of it is that it works similar to porting the head. porting the head allows your engine to flow more air, and going with a slightly larger throttle body is olike opening up a boittle neck to allow more air into the engine

Cool. I hope they go through with the development because I think there would be a lot of interest.
