Ok so I installed a CAI awhile ago and after a few weeks of running fine all of a sudden my check engine light comes on. Its seems to come on at lest once every other week. I just take off the neg battery ter and reset it. Now im not sure if I even got everything hooked up right because there are 2 extra plugs. Is my MAFs getting confused and throwing a check engine light at me or is somthing not hooked up right? My intake didnt come with instructions.

Wow, that's a messed up install. wink First off, you need to remove the thin hose coming off the bottom of the intake manifold and use a small vacuum cap to plug off the hole in the intake manifold. Next, that part you have screwed into the intake piping below the yellow hose is supposed to go on the intake bracket that connects to the car, right near the small fuse box. Next, the sensor that the yellow hose connects to is supposed to be screwed in right below where the yellow hose connects to the intake. Finally, there should be only one unconnected plug, the blue one. Everything else gets connected to where it originally was.
