Quick question my co-worker of mine at work is giving me some yoko ES100's tires. We both have the same exact tires, but his are 205/45's and mines are 205/50's. He is giving 2 of them for my rear's because mine are pretty bald really LOW!! Well anyways question was would you guys think there would be a big difference in putting the 205/45's on my rear that have like 70% tred left on them in mixing them with my 2 front tires which are the 205/50's that are about 40% tred left?? Would you guys say its cool for a little bit? Just enough time for to me to get some new ones in a month or so?? I mean I dont think it would be a big deal its like half a centi right?? ***205/50's<>205/45's***

the 45 series tires will throw your speedo off, but its okay because it will make it seem like your going faster than you are with the smaller diameter tire up front.

What does your co-worker drive, anyway? I've never heard of a Celica using 45-series on stock rims, so I assume it's a different type of car?

Anyway, isn't it our front wheels that measure speed? I'd certainly put the 45's on the rear wheels. Not only would that keep your speedo in-check, but the rears are just along for the ride anyway.
