anyone know which is better as far as intake goes? The new TPR CAI or the Injen RD CAI with heatshield?

TPR makes more power than Injen in over 80% of the powerband (destroys Injen down low and at lift), doesn't have any bogging or CELs like Injen is famous for (the only intake to use MAFS tuning fins), has better construction (stainless steel w/ adjustable mounting bracket), and costs less (only $180). smile

RookieGTS you should cell ur injen intake man that shit blows, get tpr or aem, just because injen makes more top end done mean its better, our cars need more low end power, aem and tpr have those,Injen dont thats y it sucks, i sold my INJEN and now waiting for the TPR casted intakes to start production thumbsup

Nope, but it will pass emissions like any CARB certified intake.

I think our cars need more HIGH END. The acceleration is weak! Once you get around 6k - 7k RPMs, everythings good.

TPR is good because it has the best of both worlds and supposedly it doesn't bog.

You just said the acceleration is weak, so that means we need low end, not high end. Blah, what do you know, you have an auto. grin

What does that have to do with anything? confused

I wanted to know which intake was the best sounding, quality, etc. That doesn't mean I don't know what low and high end mean confused

Unknown. TPR is having issues with its shop, so further measures will need to be taken before they're finished. Easy_C sent a final email to the shop, basically telling them they need to get working, return everything they have from TPR (money and prototypes), or they'll be taken to court. Either way, some shop will be producing TPR intakes and exhausts, so it's just a matter of time.

Yup, the TPR exhaust has been dyno proven to be the most powerful Celica axle back, by far. thumbsup

You'll have to PM Easy_C for that, but it may take a while due to the problem with the shop (the shop does the shipping).
