If i were to build a new motor for my car where would be a good place to purchase a block?

what is worng with ur stock block right now confused, you can go to a junkyard and get a block from there thumbsup

i dont know that for sure but monkeywrenchracing.com is selling sleeves for the engine to handle more pressure. you can get it in the stock bore or a larger bore (1.93 liter) thumbsup

maybe you want a new block to build your motor while still being able to drive your Celica around? is that right? And along the same lines of having no down time maybe you want a fresh block to put in just in case you blow your motor?

I just did a search on http://www.car-part.com and found 3 listed and 2 with prices. There's one for $300 in Columbus, Indiana. http://www.cars-and-parts.net/
