sorry i don't know...but i was wondering when you know to replace your lift bolts. I'm under the impression that they wear out or loosen or in your case break...how can you tell? Should you replace these somewhat regularly?

yeah, you should replace them apparently every 30k, i found out that mine needed to be replaced at around 32k, which is about right. i knew that they were gone once i couldn't hit lift anymore, which really takes all the fun out of driving a gts and the main reason why i bought one. it's like driving a gt with no low end torque and when you want to hit lift, it just slowly climbs to 8k

something a little more concrete than that, it's bad enough that the bolt broke off, and i had to realign everything, the last thing i need is to have to go through this all over again. any idea how the "new" lift bolts hold up? any difference in lift?

no diff. in lift..i replaced mine like 5 months or so ago and it's still going good..but i rarely hit lift, i just do it once in a while for the fun of it..as for how tight? well i would tight them all the way until i couldn't tight anymore with my hand then i just use the 10mm wrench and tightening a lil bit more like 1/2 more round..then it's all good..so, so far so good..

Lift bolts should be tightened to 66 in-lbs (about 5.5 ft-lbs). I'd advise checking them every 10K (people have broken them in less), and if there's any more wear than just the surface coating scraped off, it 's a good idea to replace them. You don't want to have to shell out $$$ to get them removed if they break because you left them in too long.
