It's removable so just pry it off...sand it as well as you can, prime it and paint it. Any paint would do smile

Isn't it like a cloth material though? or are we talking about 2 different things? i'm confused.

totally agree, you can pick up import and engine paint (works nice) at your local auto parts store.
