when one front tire starts slipping it sends power tot he other tire...basically dramatically helps powering out of corners and launching!

TPR Intake! - Injens high end with AEM's low end and NO BOGGING!
TPR EXHAUST! - Exhaust made 10.5 whp peak and 32 whp at 6300 on my car!!!

The celica has power on one wheel while an LSD sends it to both wheels so thats how it helps launch. An open differental can be converted to LSD. thumbsup

I think im right

Our cars should have been equipted with a LSD from the factory. Not all LSD's are the same. That one there is the better, but will need to be serviced just like your clutch on your transmission after a certain amount of miles or abuse. There is a difference for the same clutch type differentials from different companies. There also is a difference for between the two or three companies I know of that do make a LSD that's not clutch type for our cars.
It all falls to a matter of money and driving ability. Get a Quaife or helical LSD if you don't plan on driving the AutoX circuit or track.
I can't comment on drag launches either or the added possibbilty of a turbo, maybe someone else. I don't have the patience. Sorry and good luck.

Anybody get the TRD LSD installed from the dealer when you bought the car?
