i recently blew a fuse and was wondering if the fuel door sign ( bottom right on the gauge panel under he fuel bars) is supposed to light up

yea its always supposed to be on to show you which side the fuel door is, useless but nice of toyota

yeah it turns on all the time, but ionno how to make it work again if it stopped srry

dude r you talking about the "fuel door" sign like right under the gas and engine temperature meters? cause thats the only fuel door i know of and it is ALWAYS supposed to be on

^^ yeah i think its supposed to be on all the time or at least when the headlights are on. hence gauge overlays just have them covered with their own "fuel door" fonts, while other things that need to actually have sensors connected to like the seat belt guy are just cleared out windows in overlays

I don't have a fuel door LIGHT... it's just marked on the gauge but not lit. I've never seen a celica with it lit. confused

The fuel door icon never lights up. It can't. There's no LED behind it, and the gauge face in that area is opaque, so no light will pass through. I can take a pic if necessary. wink
