Like most other discontinued cars, it will keep depreciating until there is more demand than supply. You don't need to worry about the service/repair parts. Toyota make good money from them. As long as there are Celica on the road, there will be parts available.
The best manual for Toyota cars is the Toyota factory repair manual (big green book)

^^Yup, $16,415 loaded GTS 6-speed from a private seller. Toyota will continue to sell parts for and service the Celica until at least all the warranties are up. From there, they have no obligation to provide any parts for 'em. If they still have parts, they will likely sell them to companies that sell new old stock items. Engine parts will be a different story, because the Celica is not the only car with a 1zz or 2zz. For most parts, however, you can get an aftermarket replacement that will equal or exceed the OEM part in quality, and it'll be cheaper.

I've searched online for a Chiltons. Why isn't there one, or am I just not seeing it? Is it because the 7th Gen is still in production? confused

Oh, sorry, the Chilton's service manuals. Are they making them for the 7th gen?

Why do you want Chilton or Haynes when you have Toyota repair manual?

The 2002 model GTS has a 7800 rev limiter ECU. The 2000-2001 models have 8350, and the 2003-2004 have like 8200 or something. This makes the 2002 slower because it can't get the last 500 rpms of lift in each gear. You can swap out the ECU though, so if the car is a good deal, jump on it!

okayyy...i need your advise on this...i am looking at a 2002 gts and a 2003 gt...its really hard for me to decide btw the two..the hp of gts wants me to go for it plus the owner is only 300 miles from where i live while gts is 03, cheaper, but it is 1000 miles ...

assuming they have all the standard features which one should i got for and why???

..mileage is almost the same for both..
