This hood was only in production for 4 months and of that, only 20 were ever sold...
Your best bet in looking for this hood would be to find it used...

your right on that one but i really wanted this hood to buy when income tax comes in just like everyone else on this site is gonna be waiting for that $ and will most likely do a mod to their car i though the hood from brs would be the best thing i could get with that money since i am scared of the ur racing pulleys now i guess if i dont find the hood somewhere i could maybe do lambo doors or somethin

Whats up with BRS? seems like everything cool they made for the celica is nolonger in production. The front bumper, the fender flares, the hood... Did they go out of buisness?

Did they go out of buisness? nope - you just gotta buy BRS parts when they are available... they are ALWAYS working on new products... so many new products that they cannot always keep them on production at all times. ie; Out with the OLD and In with the NEW (if they kept making old products, they wouldn't ever come out with new innovative products) a successful company needs to keep reinventing themselves to stay ahead of the rest who do not

https://celicahobby.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=138BRS Tuning's agressively styled carbon Fiber hood with carbon fiber hoodscoop The addition of the Naca air ducts are useful when air needs to be drawn into an area which isn't exposed to the direct air flow the scoop has access to. Quite often you will see ducts along the sides of a car. These ducts take advantage of the Boundary layer, a layer of slow moving air that "clings" to the bodywork of the car, especially where the bodywork flattens, or does not accellerate or decellerate the air flow. Areas like the hood, roof, and side body panels are good examples. The longer the body panel, the thicker the layer becomes (a source of drag that grows as the layer thickens too). These ducts scavenge this slower moving area by means of a specially shaped intake. The intake shape drops in toward the inside of the bodywork, and this draws the slow moving air into the opening at the end of the duct. Vorticies are also generated by the "walls" of the duct shape, aiding in the scavenging. The shape and depth change of the duct increase air flow to your intake manifold to cool it down, while drawing the warm air away from your air intake and other critical engine components that usualy cause "heat soak" when warm air builds-up in those areas.
