OK i was tryn to install BLUE LED hvac..neways everything went perfect...in the installation review part it says you need to break the bracket in order to put in a neon..well for thats not the point..i did break the bracket to i can take out the 2 stock bulbs behind it..so it was jammed in tight..i unscrew the 2 screws holding it up to finally let it out so i have a easier access to the 2 bulbs..so i lost one of the screws when i was putting it back inside..i got the LED bulbs all set in place everything is workn and its very blue.so once i put everything back to together and the cover..i notice that my defrost and a/c button does not push in in order for it to turn on..ive been tryn to fix this problem for the last 4 hrs and it jsut wouldn turn on...its prolli because i broke the bracket and it became unsteady..so when i put the hvac cover back on and the hole that fits in the defrog and a/c button its feels very tight and you can hardly push it in to turn it on..has anybody had this problem with the defrog and a/c button not workn properly and how to fix this problem? should i add sumthing in the back of the button so theres more cushion to turn on? help

its not a big deal, just wiggle it a little bit and take the panel back off, make sure its snaps it right, if its slightly off it will make the buttons goofy

Whoever told you to break the bracket was wrong.

The buttons rely on tension created by the two screws that screw into the bracket and secure the bracket to the assembly.

If one screw is missing or the bracket is broken, the buttons will stick.

If you want a neon stick to fit behind there, all you have to do is grind a little of the plastic bracket down. Just make sure it doesn't snap.

yeah if you broke the bracket you're prolly pretty fucked. If you can remove the conver and use the button, but it sticks when the cover is on, you could grind the button holes a bit. But I would recomend fixing the install with a new bracket. basically because if you ever get a new bracket, the plastic cover will be forever grinded down and fucked up.
