went to the dealer to get my windsheild wiper fluid fixed... bottom line, they told me my car was in an accident and that my warantee was now void... even though its never been in an accident AND i payed an extra grand for the platinum warantee...

btw... my car was BONE stock when i brought it in.

... basically the shitty service has turned me off toyota all together... and i will not be buying a toyota in the future.

i've too many to think of...took my paseo to get an oil change like back in 97', everything was ok. took it home and i found out it was leaking oil like crazy in the garage floor. took it back the next day and told them about it, they said the oil pan is cracked, but don't worry it's under warranty. so i waited for 3 hrs to get my oil pan replaced. took it home again, and guess what, more oil was leaking. took it back the next day again, they said the oil pan is cracked. what? wtf and this time they wanted to charge me $180 to replace it. got sick of it and took it to another dealer, they found out the oil was over poured by 2 qts!!! eek

I took my GTS in to have the car aligned and the fuckers took it for a joy ride and wrecked it. It took me 9 months to get them to replace my Kam bumper.

yeah and the best part about the whole thing was they tried to tell me it happened in the service bay. The service manager claimed the new guy didnt know the diferecne between a 6 and 5 speed. Said he thought it was in reverse and it was in first and just "tapped" the wall. I was like then how the hell do you explain the mudd and grass stuck in my grill and engine!?!?!

nothing really horrible, but when i got my 02 celica used private party, i went to the dealership to ask if theres a gas tank recall. first, when i was talkin to the guy and told him that i drive the celica parked outside (aftermarket rims, TRD spoiler), his attitude completely changed. hes like no theres no such thing as recall on these cars. well i went to the other guy there, he doesnt really know how to check it. he asks a girl there how to check it, and shes like Start>Internet Explorer, type h t t p, column, slash slash...
i was gonna crack, the guy has NO idea how to check it and use the computer, and this guy has been working there for a while cz his family pics are all over the place.

another time i forgot wut dealership i called but they were the biggest kissass and assholes. i just returned the celica and had 8000$ with me and saw this celica add on autotrader. when i called this dealership, someone from the front desk picked up, and when i asked her to transfer me to a salesguy, shes giving me a survey like. if you are interested in a car, will you come and test drive it? will you buy the car immediately if everything is fine? im like just transfer me already.
well things get worst. i start talkin to this guy and and im like wut color is it, hes like white or silver. so i ask him more info like how many miles, leather seats,...
hes like im not sure, and says when can you come to test drive the car? im like when i get more info, and then hes like if you like the offer will you buy the car immediately, im like lets not jump to conclusions now, but if everything is fine i come to test drive and buy the car. and i say so can you check how many miles the car has, leather seats,... hes like ahh, ok. well all that discussion was with attitude and when he said ah ok he had the meanest tone and hung up never called me back. haha, stupid mother fucker, lost himself some good money. glad i didnt buy any car from dealer.

oh btw, did uknow that none of the salespeople at toyota dont know how to drive a celica 6spd? they always mess the reverse with 1st. after hearing the beep, they still dont understand it.

This is what happened when I went to get my Celica.

I went on a Friday and test drove the car by myself. The salesman was an ass... he only let me take it up to 45 and he started freaking out. The next day I go back with my dad to actually buy the thing (I was 18 by 1 day... needed a co-signer). Of course I didn't ask for the same salesman, I just found someone else. We talk out the price and get a good deal, then start doing the paperwork for the credit check. He comes back in "I'm sorry sir, you only qualify for tier-3... the interest rate is 13%". Me and my dad both look at each other like WTF. Then we look at the paper, he ran my BROTHERS credit, because he had bought a car there before, and the same first and last name as my dad, just a different middle name. rofl

So they go back to run the credit check again. While we're waiting, salesman #1 from the previous day comes up and asks if I'm ready to buy the car. We tell him we're already in the process and he flips out. He asks why the hell I didn't ask for him when I came back, and starts telling me how he has a family to feed. All I tell him is that we got a good deal already and there isn't much to do, so he storms off to find a manager because he thinks he should get a cut.

They finally tell us the credit check is slow because it's the weekend or some trash, and they'll call us when it's done. I'm just thinking "wtf... I know we have perfect credit... what's the holdup?". So anyway, we go home and wait for the call. 3 hours go by and nothing, so we go back. We find the salesman from day 1 showing someone else the car we're already doing paperwork for! angry We go in to see if they finished the credit check, and they keep saying no. Obviously they just are stalling because they can sell the car at a higher price to whoever is currently looking at it. Long story short, we said enough BS and just paid cash for the car. rofl

Oh, then the best part. The last thing before we leave, the salesman tells us to bring back the blank customer satisfaction survey when it comes in the mail, so that he can fill it out. If we do, he said he'd give us a free tank of gas. rofl
