Celica Forums General Discussion Engine and Performance Exhaust / ECU

Does anybody know if it's beneficial to reset the ECU after installing a cat-back exhaust?
I just installed an Apexi N1 cat-back on my 2001 GT. I heard it can help balance the engine from running to lean/rich.
Also, I wanted to say that after driving my car around for the last few days, my exhaust has become significantly louder. I am now quite happy with the way it sounds.

you mean axle back..and no it won't do anything on our cars.

Yeah,^^ TRD Kazuma is the only cat-back system made for the celica, unless you go custom.

yes should reset it after any change in mechanics. Just undo the battery terminals for 15min. then reconnect.
