well as some of you may or may not know. I 16 and my car was vandalized in my school parking lot. There was about $3,000 worht of damage. I haven't found out who it was yet, but my insurance is going to cover the costs. Well i figured to prevent this from happening again i should buy a security system. I purchased the CompuSTAR 2WSS-AS. It has a 2 way pager that goes up to 1.25 miles. Has auto start (for manual transmission) I brought every single one of the security sensors available. I bought it from ebay from a reputable seller today. It retails $699 and i got it for $324 shipped. And it will cost me about $200 to get it installed. If you guys are interested on the sensors i bought i will list them. There are some pretty cool features. What do you guys think. I will post a link to the auction if you are curious.

I mave a motion sensor: senses if someone is within a certain distance from the car also has a little laser that is placed inside the window area (if my windows are down and someone puts their had through the window then alarm sounds.) Glass sensor: detects if someone is trying to crack glass. Alarm sounds on impact of glass. (slightest touch). There are sensors in the door handles. If some lifts the door handle when alarm is armed it will go off. And there are sensors basically every where else on the car too (hood, doors, trunk..etc.) And remember when any of the sensors go of it lets me know on the pager that i will have with me. There are also some other sensors you could buy but i did not. Water sensor: if windows or sunroof are open and detects water then they close. You can also press a buttom on the remote that rolls windows up/down without being in the car. This is the top of the line security system. My friend has this in his STi and it is amazing. Basicly if the wind is blowing to hard it will let me know on my pager

Seriously, Who vandalizes cars. Do you have nothing better to do. I mean thats stepping to a new low when it comes to doing something like that. Especially 3000 dollars worth of car damage. I mean how could you possibly do something like that. What did they all do to it?

Good move in getting a good security system. But, even with a good security system most cars can be stolen in under 5 minutes. It happened to my boy XPEDI1.

those are great, the only perblem is that you have to have a comstare dealer to install them or it will void everything . so I ended up with a viper 985. I had the CompuSTAR 2WSS-AS, but I sold it .
