Hello.
I live in Norway, where winter is very cold.
For 3 weeks ego I had 1/4 gas in my fuel tank.
the temperature was then between +2 and + 6
then it came cold and the temperature was -2 to -5

I still had 1/4 gas in my tan becouse my car was standing in 3 days.

I drived home (temperature was under -2 whole time).
I filled up fuel tank and looked at my indicator and it shows 19 of 20 (we got 20 sectors on fueal tank indicator i celica;) )

how, I drived 5 km then the I got 20.
But when I drive 50km I got 19 again. I fill up tank, I have 19. I stop car for the night, next day I got 20.

It looks like there is some problems with fuel tank indicator and temperatures under -1 Celsius.

Any one who had this problem?
Any solusion?
Any Ideas?

(I got a teory that fueal tank indicator will show 20 in summer time when car is worm and all other parts too)

Maybe its a temperature thing like you thought who knows? I wouldn't worry about it.

My indicator is 4 bars off...regardless of conditions. Fuel gauges have never been very accurate. It annoys the hell out of me some days, but I put up with it and don't worry about it.
