I noice that the newer Celicas, 04-05 have different headlights, i mean if you put a 05 and a 00 side by side you will notice a difference. Can someone tell me what it is? Other than the HID of course. The 04-05 one seems to have better looking lights. The insde seems to have blueish reflectors of something.
It would be great if someone post a 00 and 05 Celica side by side headlight pic up.
Thx.

oh, it might seem as though they are transforming - only because the front bumper have changed in design. it gives a different perspective.

I think its with the Tsunami Edition. My '04 (action package) doesn't have the painted lights. I don't think I'd want them anyway with the T-Cloud color.

OK, well, I don't have HIDs, and I thought there were two flavors of '04 Action Package. I've never heard anyone mention the name TSunami in connection with my '04; the dealer guys were pretty much in the dark about the whole thing anyway (pretty much the price I paid was a non-action pack price, so I don't even think they knew it had an action pack). So I'm pretty sure I've got the "non-TSunami" '04 action package. I think Mr. RagingPaseo once posted the name of the "other" '04 package. I think its pretty much the same as the TSunami without the HIDs and painted lights though. Sorry, doesn't help much, huh?

Maybe I've just got an incomplete tsunami. I definitely don't have the HIDs. Its entirely possible they put the package on at the dealer and it was missing the HIDs. The "description" sheet they put on the car in the dealer lot says nothing about an action package. Oh well, I thought you had posted once the name of the "other" package, but now I'm thinking maybe you were just saying it was the "aggressive" TRD package.

I pulled out the original sheet that was on the car. It does say "Color-Keyed Head Light Assembly", which I obviously don't have. It doesn't mention HIDs, or action package. So I'm pretty sure its just supposed to be a tsunami, only I don't have the painted lights. Like I said, I don't miss having them.

yea so it soudns liek they jsut forgot to put the painted ligths on urs. becaue you ahve the full "t" body kit and the semi rasied hood scoop. al of thoise, together with we spoiler you ahve and tailights and the headlights (which you dont have) is the T kit. as long as ur happy. i loved the kit. unfortiunatly there were no "t" kit gts' ther so i had to get reg body style. deff like it though.

hombred--If you want to paint your headlights I can help you man...it's real easy to get the headlights open. I was pretty apprehensive to put my headlights in the oven too but it's not very hard

Well I didnt paint mine...I bought some headlight inserts off of Tater (pre-painted)...but I had to put them in the oven to open them up and install the inserts. BTW--they are painted black

There would be no point putting the HID version in the oven. You wouldn't have to since they come already with the gunmetal look. I would take that slip back to the dealer & get them to order the color keyed headlights, since that's what you paid for...
