i got a used WW body kit from a guy...there are some

scratches on the front lip, two side skirts, and the rear

bumper...

anyway...i brought mine to a bodyshop in Austin...and they

gave me a price on painting and installing my WW

bodykit...it was $1200...but i made him go down to

$1000...i still think $1000 is too much just for painting

and installing a USED WW bodykit...

what do you guys think? is it too expensive? actually i am

looking for $600 for painting and installing.

(by the way, they told me that they will use a "SPECIAL

GLUE" that is only made for body kit to glue...???...i

thought two sided tape would be fine)

Im going through this right now. He gave me an estimate for 300 and now its 700. I honestly believe it is a 500 job because its gaped and he used rivots instead of tape or glue?!?!?!?! looks so tacky but i agree that glue might work good b/c two sided tape will come lose with all the vibrating after a while so I'm interested in this glue thing. Do you know the name of the glue?

seriously, for 1k more you can get the entire car repainted (in some places) it should only cost you $300-500 to get it painted and installed. Hell, you can almost buy a new WW body kit and get it painted and installed for that kind of money...
