Hey everyone well my Head Gaskit blew on my 1985 Celica GTS and im really sad but what I really need help with is how much a head gaskit is going to cost me my GTS only has 70k miles on it please help me someone I really would like to kno the cost of one thank you...

To buy one and put it on yourself probably isn't too bad; I've never done one myself, but I'm guessing its less than $200. For a shop to do it, expect around $500 or more. I used to have a Pontiac Sunbird and the block got warped. I had to get the gasket replaced 2 or 3 times, and it was about $400 back in 1990 or so. I dunno, maybe someone can give you a better price for a kit you can install.

well the real good thing is that I found one for $86 and I dont have to pay any labor charges at all... Im soo happy and the reason why I dont have to pay labor charges is because Im in an Auto Tech Class and the senior class is going to fix it for me for free Im SOOOO HAPPY!!!

Same thing happened to me ,head gasket blew along with a few other things but the gasket was around $400 to replace

all you gotta do is take the engine head off, not that hard.
