Okay to install the AEM (gen 2) intake do you need the two hoses that are in these pics http://www.coldairintakeshop.com/aem~toyota~celica~coldair.html or are these hoses already on the car? Thank you for the help.

That goes undeneath the radiator fan. You should have a silver color adaptor you snap that hose in there. The hose is needed to cool the ECU

The pictures indicates the 2 hoses that came from AEM.

Ok I bought this intake from SLVCELI there were no hoses with the intake I managed to install the intake with the stock hose but I'm still missing the hose for the ecu I'm going to be picking it up tomorrow morning at AutoZone now are there suppose to be 2 adaptors? I know that the hose connects under the fan but do you need a adaptor for that end? I took the car for a test drive no check engine lights came on everything seems good to go but just curious to know if theres any more vacuum lines to plug up except the one in the pic? thanks wink

yeah you needed the hose to cool the ECU otherwise it will give you a CEL after a while of not having it. Maybe your lucky because temp is low during this season but I woudn't recommend running your car without anything to cool your ECU. So yeah you are going to need the 2 extra adaptors. You can either ask SLVCELI if he still has it, otherwise you are going to have to find ways around it or buy (if available) at any car parts store.
