Celica Forums General Discussion General squeaky transmission question

it's actually not that bad, but sometimes when i shift into 2nd gear (6-speed, '02, GTS), i hear a high pitched squeak. it's not quite like a grinding, but its just a tiny squeak that bugs me. it doesn't happen when shifting in or out of any other gear. has anyone else ever heard of anything like this? any suggestions would be much appreciated. thanks in advance

yea, just spray some WD40 on the linkage.
have someone in ur car, jack up the car and get under while the person inside shifts to second to neutral and repeat. find the part thats moving and spray it on there. will make the squeak go and shift smoother
