In the cold weather is it normal for you exhaust to smoke, even after warmed up? Also some type of liquid is in the exhaust, is that just condensation? Is it a sign of my head gascets going bad? help anyone. Also has a weird smell, kinda like fuel and coolant coming out of my exhaust.
that is all just normal winter exhaust characteristics... the liquid is just condensation from the "smoke" that you see. the smoke is kinda like when you can see your breath in the cold air... nothing to worry about
word, dont you notice it coming fro mall the other cars
I do, but after a while there goes away, I let mine run for 45 min. And it was still thick, looking as if my car was on fire. Others come thin, Like my beeter, it starts out like how I explained, but after it warms up, the smoke is hardly noticeable. As for my celica, it stays thick, Where I cant even see in back of it. But you say its normal, I gotta believe. This is my first snowy winter, so I dont really know much of these colder climates Thx everyone
yea i think the celi gives of a big smoke cloud too. Like when your at a stop sign and hit the gas and you can still see your cloud of smoke rolling around at the stop sign.
its normal... happen to me and every other car i saw.. if you put your car in the garage and keep it warm.. you wont c the smoke when you start your car in the morning. if you from a place with snow then its a different story..
