i agree. Great price for spoilier, i woudl have bought it if i knew. yea hoodpins are a must even if it comes with a latch. Not as strong as if welded on a reg metal hood. Deff not worth the risk of craching the winsheild

you dont NEED hoodpins. ive had my VIS invader for over 2 years, have hoodpins sitting in my garage for about 1.5 years. after i slap the turbo on, ill most likely throw the hoodpins on. ...and still, i wont be putting them on because i dont trust the latch, ill be putting them on because ill finally have the balls to drill into the frame, since you need to do so to mount the FMIC.

I have heard that some brands of Carbon Fiber hoods do make a latch that actually does a good job holding the hood in place, and unless you're pushing your car hard you can get away without doing hoodpins, but it still is safer. Do a search, some members have had their hood fly up because they had no hoodpins.

you should do a poll... Carbon Fiber hood OWNERS do you currently have hoodpins installed? 1) yes. 2) no. 3) what is 'CF'?

[/quote] i've the complete action pack, but the spoiler. i noticed my sides are a bit lower than the action pack front bumper. i'm guessing after market body kit will flow more evenly...
