I recently installed 2 12" subs with a 460W amp. I really dont wanna run any risk of having fading lights or even my batt dying on me.SO what do you guys recomend: A new batt?(optima/sears gold line) or a Capacitor ? Thanx for the help.

since that really won't be a very high powered system a cap should work just fine.

i think a cap would be good for now, but if you intend on doing anything else that requires a power usage, i'd reccomend both.

get the cap and if money is no problem an optima batterry and a stinger alternator and a grounding system would have yuor electrical system working nice and powerful

No one mentioned this: Make sure you use 4 gauge power wire! Hehe
