It was freakin cold here last night - I didn't plug in my car. A lot of people's cars froze up, but mine made it through just fine. It had to turn over about 5 or 6 times to get started, but the battery stayed strong. The optima was definatly worth the cash...

.. the shifter was really hard to move too, the transmission fluid must have gotten too cold.. I wonder how bad it is for things if you start driving before it all warms up...

Yea my stock battery is about done, the windshield here last night was 10 below. My shifter was really difficult to move as well, i wonder why it does that.

Yeah my shifter was a is a lil rough on them cold mornings here. But after it warms up the shifter is coo. BTW I have a red top as well.

red top - but you need to add some spacers to make it fit, its not as tall as the stock battery
