the 3sgte engine is the only one i think, and from what i remember the person that did it cost him 15g's. so unless you have some serious deep pockets just buy a c2gas turbo.

3sgte is a great option but it was 10k to correct Batmobile. The swap is costly but... Once that engine is in... You have countless upgrades... That engine is a power machine and will give you GREAT number for the money. Yea you could go with C2power(Which is a great way to go) but if you go with 3sgte.. You upgrade options will be HUGE!

It would be cheaper to use the factory 2ZZ and fully build it and boost it. You'll still end around 500 hp and be lighter then if you threw in the 3sgte. I say don't swap just build what you got. the 2zz is NOT a bad motor. It just takes time and creativity.

N/M you have a 1zz. you can still get those up in the 300 - 350 whp range and be cheaper then the swap.

k thanks I figured to get my GT to 300-350 whp with C2Power turbo Stage 2 (with everything so engine doesn't blow up ) everything would cost about 18k without most of the installations (does include turbo install)...that is a lot more than 10k how much to upgrade the 3sgte?? is the Supra Engine to big for our cars?? i am positive it is...but still wanted to make sure cause my car and a 1997 15th anniversary edition Supra Twin Turbo are my dream cars

here is a list of the stuff i figured (some are high to account for things but most are pretty accurate..like the turbo ) Turbo 1. C2Power Stage 2 Turbo $3600.00 and send tranny for $900.00 for shipment of transmission to put LSD on it and upgrade it to hold more whp and torque plus about $2900 for installation plus $3600 for tranny stuff 2. 3 downpipe and custom exhaust $1000.00 3. Crower Billet Connecting Rods from MonkeyWrenching $748.00 4. Wiseco Piston Set from MonkeyWrenching (8.8:1 and coated skirts) $577.00 5. Turbo Timer and any other Ratio Gauges and gauge pods (use type S7s) approximately $2000 (maybe need box thing but no clue) 6. Short Shifter about $200.00 shipped 7. New Clutch (from Performancetuning.com maybe) and flywheel to hold more whp and torque (mvpmotorsports.com) about $1300 with shipping and installation 8. Cross-Drilled rotors and bigger brake pads approximately $650.00 for everything, shipping and installation...and bigger drums??? need more info on this part which would mean even more money! 9. High temp spark plugs|.???? Running high Total for Turbo: $17,475.00 what about a supra engine???

$2900 for installation I wish I lived near you also please explain this more "plus $3600 for tranny stuff" what tranny stuff? if you're dropping that much you need to scrap the stock tranny and buy the cspower gearset for $4k. you'll be able to hold more power then you'll ever make with the celica.

that 3600 is for the C2Power tranny gear set...i just have to pay for shipping and the cost of the parts...no installation of the stuff...i also made a mistake...i have a 5 speed and this tranny gearset is for a 6 speed they told me so don't know how to switch that over so even more money...powering are cars up is wayyyy to expensive...we should just swap with a supra engine lol

EDIT:Never mind, it's just a recommendation.
