Well we are doing a 2zz engine swap into my friends gt. Everything was going smooth till it came to the shifter and the shifter cables. The cable is like an inch to long, and when you put it on, the shifter only moves into first and second. It is a 2zz-ge engine and tranny imported from japan, and we have called toyota like a million times, and no one can tell us if the bell crank assebly is in the same place on the Usdm and the jdm tranny, soo if anyone has any knowledge about this let me know.

Pictures, and the right shift cables. Some of the people that work at toyota have NO idea of what they are talking about or anything about these cars. I even called the 1-800-go toyota, and they wouldnt help me unless i gave them a list of information. After we gave them all the info for the car, they still didnt know! Best best for swaps is to get someone knowledgable, and it whould be a breeze
