HI all,
I have had the Injen CAI, for my Celica GT, 2001 for about 2 years and ever since, for some reason, I have to put 1 quart of oil in a week. Someone has said to me that maybe my car is running to rich and maybe its because of the unhooked wire. And the funny thing is, I always said there is no way it is from an intake, but, I am not so sure anymore because i ended up replacing the whole short block and I am still having the same problem. but, the car runs great, "it just burns a quart of oil a week:( Can anybody shed some light. Oh and the reason the shortblock was replaced is because The engine ran out of oil from burning it" was before i was aware there was a problem. And I have no money to get this checked, so all i can do is research. Someone help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:)

there's got to be a leak or bad seal somewhere. no way in hell is your intake gonna do that.

and running "rich" refers to air/fuel ratios. If you're burning that much oil you have some serious problems.
