Yeah it will fit. I order it and installed on my celica and it fit perfectly, the Matrix have the same mounts as the celica.

or you can pick up a stock mount from a junk yard and fill it with poly yourself. you'll pay a lot less and you'll be able to make the poly what ever density you prefer.

what it does is make the mount stiffer. when you start the car or your at idle you feel the car vibrating, thats the engine moving. the polyurathane inserts make it stiffer which make more of that vibration you feel transfer to the chassis which you gonna feel the car vibrate more at idle. The pro side is better shifter and launching. People say filling the mount dont make the car vibrate as much as the energy suspension polyurathane inserts and by filling the mount you can decide how stiff you want the mount.

I got use to the vibration and it only happens at idle so i just put the inserts. The stock mounts are weak so they wear out faster.

How expensive is it to have it installed? Would it be hard to do it yourself?

i think my rear is torn or broke, when i let off the gas it seems the car jerks more than it should.. Probably tore because of my filled front mount..

I bought mine from Ptuning, they are only about 30 bucks. The front mount is really easy to do yourself. The rear is a pain in the ass. You need to remove your driver side wheel, get about 2ft in extentions for your air wrench. I had to use a 500 lbs gun. Not to mention that there is very little room to work back there. It'll take you a bit of time, but i think its worth it.

Yea what celiman said but i just used a socket cause i didnt have the luxury of air tools and when he said take some time for the rear he means hours and hours.
