I have an Auto GTS so I can only downshift, when the ECU thinks I should, when I downshift on the highest RPM I can, to save brakes, there is sometimes this weird noise coming from the engine (not engine braking/reving). It's weird because I can feel only after a few seconds of doenshifting on the brake pedal, the pedal sort of vibrates, everytime it does it, I keep thinking my brakes are going to go off and I'll crash or something, by the way I haven't done anything to my car, still stock and it still has warranty

not sure i understand what you mean, you're tapping your brakes to make it downshift is that what you mean? Or you're using the 1 2 shift selections on the auto trany?

Imagine I'm at 4th gear and am coming to a red light so I shift to 3rd when the car let's me (I have an auto) if I shift down at the highest RPM the car will let me shift down from the brake pedal will sometimes start to vibrate and the engine will make this weird sound that scares me, lol

hmmmmm well the only thing I can imagine is that your ECU is kind of trying to get your engine to "REV match" of sorts, before the tranny gets you into "3rd gear" because you were at high RPMs. Know what I mean? That's prolly what you're hearing.

^^ should the engine bibrating really affect my brake pedal? I don't know if it's affecting my acceleration since I never have my foot there when I'm breaking, yeah I do have sportshift
