Dont know how it happened but it did! Was getting outa the car today and noticed a while mark on the rear bumper, it looked to be a salt mark but when I walked closer it turned out to be a chip in the paint.

Couldnt tell ya how it happened but it looks like something fell on it. The F/G isnt cracked and the marks look like they have a downward motion to them.

All I know is im the only one that could fuck up a 3k paint job in 3 months. First the front of the car and now this frown

Dude you have some bad luck! If I had a $3000 paint job I would make sure no one touched it. I'd probably bring a car cover to every parking lot...hehe

Hope your bad luck stops, it's a shame to see such a sweet looking car get ruined!

My car is gunna be 10x faster than yours...haha... I'm gunna buy like 10
of those speedchips! I figure if 1 gets me 20hp then 10 will get me 200hp!

Just curious. Without threatening people too much and without trying to get into anything worth arguing over; Anything more than a hobby would be putting our insignificant cars over more important things in our lives. There is nothing wrong with a hobby so I dont have much of a point then.

so what if he gets upset over his cars luck, if i put my money into it i would be a little more then upset when i keep f-ing things up or getting scratches and big ones at that. tell me that if someone came and put a big crack in your hood you wouldnt be mad then a wee later someone steps on your side skirt. im not trying to be an ass hole but im just sayin you were implying he worries over his car too much

Too bad. Do they gravel (not sand) the roads in winter like they do here? My car takes a beating all year form the shit they put on the roads in the winter and the leftovers in the summer.
I like the wingless look on your car. I just removed mine last week I like it a lot better. I dislike useless aero bits.

I did, the damn trans went a week later spineyes rofl

Im looking into just buying a second car anyway. The celi is almost 3 years old and I only have 33k on her, the only way to keep the mileage low is to get another "drive able" car so...

It sucks when you put that much money into it and you think you can move on to something else, and this shit happens. I hate it too! What about using a bit of touchup paint in that area, I don't think anyone will notice.

You have severe climate in Michigan, just like CT. Here, that means up to 4-5 months of rocks, sand, salt on the roads, depending on the road maintenance practices in each town. The way the Celi front end is shaped, the front end gets brutalized with assorted chips and dings, there's no way to prevent. confused
As I don't have a winter beater, I'm already resigned to getting my black front end painted every 2 yrs @ $450-$500. Sucks, but I don't have a lot of choices in snowy winters... spineyes
