I'm going to need to get my brakes worked on in the near future, and I've been seeing these "Brembo" slotted drilled rotors on eBay for like $200 for a set for front and same for back

Are these things worth buying/legit? I've wanted to get new rotors because mine are all rusted and ugly looking, but I don't want to go through the dealer, and if I can get decent drilled and/or slotted rotors for like $400 and get new pads and paint my calipers, that would look nice and be a good mod.

Anyone know? confused

I wouldn't trust it. Do you have an ebay link of these Brembo look-alikes?

Of all the mods you do to your car, you shouldn't compromise your brakes. Make sure what you're buying is 100% legit.

Well, what I've been finding on eBay was for older celicas

I was just wondering if such a thing was even real. I'll probably look into a retail source smile

best bet for inexpensive brake upgrade (Celica GTS)-

front and rear EBC greenstuff pads
front and rear PowerSlot rotors
caliper paint

best price for all of this together is about $550, not including installation.

just buy those PowerSlot kind if you want a good cheap kind...don't buy anything off ebay, that settles it all.
