Has anyone tried doing a funnel air system with their short ram intake. Does it work well?

lol ur not crazy. your talking aobut the mod in the install part right? i am really thinkign aobut it. was going to make it go behind liekt he foglight or something. havent done it yet tough. it would prob only have some afect at high speeds. difference betweent hat and CAI is CAI sucks from fender area, this relies on air forcing itself up. ry it out, cant hurt anything smile

lol yea if you search on the psots liek 2 weeks ago a guy and myself were discussing it. I am considering it but jsut havent had the time. He said he was going to and let us know. The thing is, your intake sucks in air. you have to be going really fast for a "ram air" affect to occure. See the CAI are sucking the air fomr below, where this si relying on airflow fomr below to get to your intake. Dont knwo if i explained it right. It seems liek a good idea and i will probably eventually try it. I would say go for it. It cant hurt. And you ever know it may work really well. Let us know if you do it htough so we cna se more pics wink
