Celica Forums General Discussion Exterior cd player help...

ok.. i have a pioneer cd player thats messin up on me. my car got rain in it a year or so back and now every time i want to play a cd, it wont play, just gives me an error message. the radio works fine, and it just wont play a cd. i used to turn on the heater for a little while and it would work again, but now it doesnt seem to work.. any help?

you prolly have some condensation on the lens of the CD player from the heat being turned on to help it and then it getting really cold at night. Condensation on the lens is a bitch to get off.

dang dude i had that happen to mine with the error thingand i took it in and they said it was f'd up and that it would cost more to fix it than replace it
