I have an excelent opertunity to pick up a set of 19" wheels with 30profile tires...

here is the delema - who has installed 19" wheels to thier celica? have they rubbed? and if so, what had you done to stop them from rubbing???

My car is still riding stock height - but I have a set of Hotchkis suspension in store for my celica ALSO within the next two months.

...basicaly, do you know anyone with 19" wheels on the celica and did they ever have a problem with rubbing - how did they solve this problem?

thanks in advance for the help,
isaac!

i think there are a couple of people at nc.org that have 19's. If they rub just roll the rear lip.
I may since I have 18's & getting GCC's. If the Hotchkis set up is not that low then I would just see if they do rub before I bothered anything. I will roll mine if they rub when the car is at a moderate height but not otherwise. Believe me I thought my 18's would fill the wheelwell better than it does, but ours are kinda large.
Check the width & offset, I think that will come into play. Mine are 18x7.5 & 35mm.

Hey Isaac, 01Celey (Sean) has 19' Konigs on his Black Action Package. He was at Hotchkis Tech Day & the Walnut tour. It had the black yangsons on it too. I remember because that car is freaking tight grin He had the Hotchkis set-up too. I can't find pics to post but I know they're somewhere [Razz] Whoa, just noticed this is an old post.
