So I was messing around today, and I wanted to check on how easy a new spark plug install would be. Stupid me, I broke not just one, but BOTH engine clips (that hold the plastic cover on). Do I need to be worried at all about the cover rattling around. I also couldn't get one of the broken pieces out, but should I get new clips now? or just wait until the next time I take the car in.

You talkin about on your valve cover? Those are made to be used once. That's what the Toyota guy that did the work on my car said. Just get some new ones. No big deal. I was able to get one off without it breaking, but the other one broke.

thanks corrupter, yeah, I mean the valve cover. I talked with my friend who said I could get the part at autozone, and get the one thats stuck by using a soldering iron to melt it and sticking a pin or paperclip in it and pulling it out.
