Whoever was wondering on how i blew my motor, here's the 411. I ran through a flood at night when it was raining. The car died as it got towards the middle of the flood. I had a tow truck bring my car back to my place so that i could try and fix it. I checked the oil to see if it was creamy and when i looked, it was good. So i decided to let the car sit and dry. About 4 days later...I started the car and it was running, but had a few problems. I had to step on the gas a couple of times but no biggy right? Anyways, When it started, BOOM! Right there it shot out from the muffler about 2 cups of rain water. I had it run for about 15 mins. before i drove it around. I thought it was all good that day but by that night i heard my engine knocking, so i knew something was going to happen, plus i was far from home to. So what happened next? YUP! You guess it, my motor blew. The next day it was brought to the dealership because I thought they would fix it for me since I had my 7 year warranty, plus it was stock so i was hoping for the best. But they didn't want because my warranty doesn't cover for water damages. So my insurance was the one that covered for it. The estimated damages were 9K but i only had to pay my deductable of $500.
So for three long freakin months i was carless(celicaless.) But its been 3months now since i got my car back. And I went on ahead to give my car a little change before it went back on the streets. It has:
Ground Control coilovers
Tokico Shocks
Hothckis Camber Kit
Carbon Fiber OEM Style
Panasonic Player
2 NOS 8 Bazooka Tubes
So now when it rains "I Stay Indoors" Carhydrophobia!
I'll post up pics. of my car later! Thanks for your time! God Bless And God Speed!
