hey everyone im new here i thought you guys could help
everytime i warm up my car it squeaks sounds like belt
not sure.it goes off after it warms up.worst thing is
that when it rains the noise doesnt go off after days
like my car just sits there and getting rained on
i really need help

loose belt, the belt can be wet, belt tensioner. Those are the probable causes for having the serpintine belt to squeak.

yeah thats a common problem. I'm not sure if it affects peformance, but i know its annoying as hell. Mine is getting worse, now it doesn't go away. if you do a search you'll probably find a million posts about this. so far some think its just the belt, or the bearing. I'm not really sure what it is. I'd fix this but i don't think there is a write up on how to do it, so i'll probably just have to wing it.

yeah i know what yall mean. everytime it rains, it starts up again. it doesn't go away until the next day or so. i asked how much it would cost to get a new belt and they said about $175. i said aaallrighty then... i gues i can put up with it a little longer. thumbsup

IDK, if your celica is getting up there in miles (70,000+), it wouldn't be such a bad idea to replace it.

hell i have only had mine since june ant it squeeks. Mine is coming fomr the alternator pully. Sprayed some silicon lub in it and it went quiet for a week or so till it got cold again. They that out but make sure you dont get any on the bults or they coudl slip off. Pisses me off becasue it makes it sound cheap. Well thenkfully its still under warrenty so eventualy i will get around to going to toyota smile
