i just got pulled over last night for inadequate exhaust angry see now the part i don't get is that i have TRD exhaust which i thought was legal, and to add to that all i have is intake and the TRD. so i was going to ple not guilty but i was wondering how can i prove that it is legal?

Did you order it new? If so, show them the warranty card that came with it. If you don't have it, I can scan and send you a copy of mine. It's legal and meets all states decibel level requirements. Worse case scenario, ask them to test it with a decibel meter.

yea i have that card only thing is that it says for california and i live in New york so i dunno if they will accept that. confused and i did purchase it new. thanks for all your guys help thumbsup

True. Are they saying you're in violation of noise limits or that the exhaust does not belong on your car? California tends to have the strictest automotive laws, so if the TRD passes there, it'll pass anywhere. In the end, they have to prove their accusations. So bring that to their attention. Just don't cave in and pay it off.

LMAO, do I need to break out the Photoshop tongue hahaha good luck with that...I'm getting an exhaust that's pretty loud and I'm wondering if the cops out here in AZ will bug me...

If you get someone to test the decibal level for you, get a certified copy of the equipment's calibration paperwork to prove that the equipment is working right. The judge will ask for it.
