is there any differnce between a jdm 1zz and the izz that i bought in the US? if so whats he differnce?

Yes, there is a difference in emmissions and smog equipment. JDM engines run have to meet different emissions requirements.

I thought JDM was 190hp for the gts, because they run higher octane fuel.

Yeah, the 2ZZ has ten more horses than the 180 US counterpart, I'm not sure if there's that much of a difference in power on the 1ZZ. And that extra power is not from higher octane (although the number is higher, but that's because they calculate octane with a different method), but from slightly less restrictive emissions equipment.

im going to dyno my car this sat and i want i dont know how much hp ill have any guesses to see whos the closest ill post the slip on sat night. methodmotorworks.com in fresno ca
