Celica Forums General Discussion General My New Rims - question

Well I bought my rims and waited 3 hours on Friday to have them put them on, and they get to my car and they're like, sorry, we can't find the 4th rim. Soooo, they're going to order it and have it in by Tuesday hopefully.

So here's the question - they are 18" rims with 215/35/18 tires. Will I get any rub from these? They said it should be fine, but who knows. I'm gonna lower it once I get them on. I'm not sure how much to lower it though. Would it be best to get the rims on and get the kit and have whoever's lowering it tell me how much to drop it? I don't want to scrape, there's a lot of dips where I live, and we get flooded up here sometimes.

i have the same size tires on my 18" rims and they never rubbed, my car is lowered a lot. hope that helps!

How much did you lower yours in the front and back and what springs/shocks/struts did you buy?
